Hi,

I'm new to the forums and need some advice. I have a 2010 GMC Sierra, 5.3L, 6 speed auto. Performance is OK but I'm told that a Dyno-Tune will help lots with performance & shifting, and I can get that nasty V-4 option shut off so that I run on 8 cyl's all the time. A local dyno tuner says he can tune me for 93 otcane, firm up the tranny, and shut off the V-4. Is this worth it and can I expect any problems like check engine lights ? I've already installed a Corsa exhaust and a K&N air filter. Need some guidance from those with some expereince with Dyno-Tune's. This is a go-to place, not a diablo or other hand held tune.

Thanks,
Rick

Welcome
If you decide to go that route it will wake it up quite abit but with gas prices on the rise im not sure if it's worth it. Haha. But anyways, check engine lights shouldn't come on. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
