i have a friend who has a '77 suburban and wants to get it bagged. theres a few people here that he knows will do it but he wants to look around for good prices from quality shops. he can get parts himself but here's what he wants: 1/2" up and 3/8" down, gc vavles, engine driven comp., 2 tanks, either slam specialties or connotech bags, and z-notched. i dont really know anything about bags, he just said this was all the stuff he needed. if anyone knows a good shop around fresno or even a couple hours away let me know. any comments or info on how to better his setup would be appreciated too.

after dealing with even reputable shops i would say do it yourself if theres any way you can becuz 90% of the time you will still do a better job with some of the kits manf's have out now

I have a post on 67-72 trucks too. I Z'd my frame, and am going to do a Suburban for my brother in a few months. It is pretty easy work.

yeah i do. he just doesnt trust some shops so he wanted to find one with a good rep. but he's found someone to do it so its all good

IYF is no longer, as far as I know. They did work on my brothers truck. The person I would have it done by is a guy named Jered Fulmer Influential Designs, part of the work on the blue frame that was in Truckin' a few months ago. Give him a call (559)647-2347

Back to your question, I would think Cali would be crawling with Air Suspension shops. Tell him to visit the shops without setting an appointment and check out their work before he takes his truck in or gets a quote.....

It seems to be happing a lot. Aftermarket is now closed for good. They are not even selling stuff. FBI is not doing installs anymore.
