Alright guys, since I sold the S-10 finally I've got a little money to spend on the new DD. I was thinking about lifting it, but after research I've decided I don't want to spend 6G's on something and lose my performance/gas mileage also. So I'm back to wanting to do 22's with MAYBE a 2-4 drop on it. It's an '05 CC Chevy 1/2 ton 2WD. I found some wheels on ebay that look awesome to me, but I want other's opinions on them, and also maybe what wheels (besides billets) everyone would run if they had 2000-2500 to spend on wheels/tires. Here's a link to one of the wheels I really like, but I've never seen or heard of them before...

Also what tire sizes is everyone running on factory heights, or a 2-4 drop? I was thinking 285 or 305/40's on stock height, but what about 2-4 drop?

They offer those wheels in the +35 offset which is what I would want, so that's not a big deal. I'm mainly wondering what wheels everyone else thinks would look good on the truck. Thanks for your help though...

those are nice rims, will look good rolling, you could even paint the raised part to match your truck.

That thought crossed my mind, but I'd have to chop it first to see what it would look like. I kind of like the lip on the ones they have in the auction, but they're a +20 offset, which may or may not be enough if I go with a 4" drop out back.

Those are pretty sweet they would look good on your cc. I'll be getting wheels soon also what offset would I need for them not to poke out, I dont need them to tuck but I want them to at least be flush with the truck.

LOL @ Scott. I was contemplating buying your wheels, but I am VERY undecided on what I want to do with the money and the truck. Part of me wants to go pay 4 or 5 grand on the truck and maybe refinance to get my payments down, part of me wants to throw a body lift/leveling kit and 33's on it, and part of me wants to go with 22's and do the 2-4 drop. I hauled hay with it this morning and enjoyed actually having a truck to do it with and I know if I lower it I'm done hauling anything with it, so who knows. Thanks for the input though guys!

If it were me I'd pay the 4 or 5 grand towards the note on the truck. You could always save up for a drop and wheels down the road.
I actually enjoyed driving mine more before the drop and 22's. I never had to be as cautious as I am now with bumps and shit lol.
