Hi guys,
I'm replacing the upholstery in my 2003 Ext. Cab and can't figure out how it all disassembles. I'm using the Katskins package, but they didn't send directions...I'm sure I can figure it out if someone gives me some pointers on what needs to come off first, and what keeps it attached (ie. zippers, velcro, plastic slider snaps, etc).

I've done plenty of upholstery work in my 98 Vette, but these are a little different.

not sure about if there any sipper or nething look for hog rings under the seat

OK all,

I got the headrests off...it requires a toothpick in the left edge in the plastic trim next to the bars that lift the headrest, then it lifts out...Haven't gotten the plastic trim off yet, but that probably won't take long...

Right now, I'm having the hardest time figuring out how the armrests get removed. They're both captain chairs, and have a hole in the upholstery in the very back of the armrest. Haven't found a release yet though.

Also found the main attachment of the top seat cover, a plastic slider snap along the bottom. I"ve got it undone, but obviously can't remove the upholstery until the armrest comes off..any ideas???

no ideas, but how much did that katskin kit cost you? You should definatley post before and after pics :worship: .

Katskin was about $900, but I'm getting tired of this...may just call it quits and sell the katskin kit...anyone want it at half price?

dont sell it dude! if anything go to a shop and have it done.
