Alright i have a 2006 gmc sierra crew cab the rear seats are the 60/40 split bench and i was wondering if it was possible to remove them and go with bucket seats back there so that i can get a center console subwoofer box made inbetween them seats

yes you can. any suv with second row captin seats will bolt right in, 03-07 classic if you want the same style seat foam but 99-02 will fit also. i have tahoe rear seats in mine.

i just got a box from subthump.com that fits two shallow mount 10's. its way cheaper to go that route then change out the seats and everything... i have the same back seat which i have come to realise is almost impossible to have good subs with. the box i got supposedly sounds good with two good 10s in it. i would recommend the box instead of the new seat

i think i came up with a good solution ima get someone to make me a box that is basically like a center console for back of truck that goes from top of middle seat to the floor and put one type x ten in it with 1000 watts rms goin to it. I just dont really fill like doing shallow subs and i want a ported box not sealed

it might be a pain in the ass as far as being in the way of the backseat but if you get someone who knows what they are doing and really does a good job as far as fitting it into that space i think it would look alright... if anything get the carpeting for the box to match your interior color
