Can you guys put up a pic of your usual ride height and also your lifted height for turning in the front end?? I have some plans in my head but I need to see these first before I decide. Also what size tires your on?? Thanks guys!!:shake::shake:

i'm on 275/30/24 & i ride maybe an 1" or so higher than this normally

word, tires really depend on your wheels. mine are 24x9 so i'm runnin the 275, yours are 24x10 right

Sweet!! I'll come by and pick it up sometime soon. Do you by chance know how to instal a stall converter?
Only ever worked on Manual trans. but I would imagine this would be way easier.....check out this link...

.......there is some cutting and welding involved in the new trans crossmember too......do you have a welder?? If not we could set something up if you want to come down one weekend and just do it in my garage and then I can weld in the reinforcement pieces for you.

I have a welder but i dont trust it or my welding for something that moves over 100km/h :crazy: Maybe just household stuff.
I can come down to get it and put it in tho. This weekend is boonstock but next weekend i should be free i think.

What size, thickness "reinforcement" plate are you using to gusset the trans crossmember? I have to do one this weekend and already have a general idea, but was curious what you have goin'

you going staic on 24s?:hmm:
We did them basically the same as the KP kit.....pretty sure it was 3/16"......maybe 1/8"....and I used 2x4 tubing for the crossmember. The factory one is only 3.5" wide but 4" fits almost perfectly!
Nope....I bought this truck from day one with the intention to bag and body it. Gonna drive it like this for the rest of the year and I've found a spare frame that I am gonna build up and have it hopefully done for next spring.
