hes prolly not on here anymore, prolly got bashed offwerd me too
there was a guy on here had a red obs rcsb did a two link on it. i cant remember his name though
why 2 link?
Why 2 link you ask, Because the truck I purchased 3 months ago has a 2 link on it. And I want to move the bags from the axle to the bars for more lift. And I dont have the money right now to do what I really want. A KP 6 Link Cantilever set up. So how bout those pic's.Here we go!!!
i wasnt bashing, just asking. i could see asking for a picture of a wishbone setup or a custom 6 link but a 2 link. its not like theres much too it.hes prolly not on here anymore, prolly got bashed off
Well since Im a begginer (this is my first bagged truck) I dont want to fuck anything up. And hey I just learned somthing new from Dava Flav, He said "dont do it to get more lift because thats whats gonna cause problems on a 2 link.i wasnt bashing, just asking. i could see asking for a picture of a wishbone setup or a custom 6 link but a 2 link. its not like theres much too it.
a properly set up 2 link has a small operating range while driving like dava said simply for the fact, like its name, it has 2 links. the more the bags lift, the more it turns the axle. the more likely damage will be done.Well since Im a begginer (this is my first bagged truck) I dont want to fuck anything up. do it to have a better ride quality than boa.
on a 2 link you should only use about 4 inches of your travel to keep the driveline in check while your driving. ive seen driveshafts pull out from retards breaking shocks. and over extending the bars" I didn't know this.
Good to know man, is there anything you can do to keep the drive shaft from coming out? I only want more lift because the truck wont untuck the 22" in the rear and I want to get the same height as the front not any more than that. so if I just jack up the rear of the truck to the height that I want and as long as the drive shaft don't come out im good right?:hmm:dont do it to get more lift because thats whats gonna cause problems on a 2 link.
