Long story short..I'm having a real tough time installing my new pitman arm. I removed the gear box so I can take it to a buddy's and hit it on with a real impact gun....my problem is when I removed the gear box I pulled the steering shaft out...not completely... But it's extended out further than before and I cannot get it to go back into place. It's still splined to the steering wheel bc it turns with it. Idk why I can't get it to slide back in tho....any help would be much appreciated
