need some new tires

hey yall, im looking to get some new tires soon and wanted opinions on the ones i have considered as well as some suggestions. there going to be 35x12.50R15. im looking for a m/t that will get 40K miles, ride good, measure up to around a 35 when on my truck, handle good in the rain, not be too loud, and of course pull pretty good. i relieze that its not going to be great in the mud compared to a super swamper but i dont off road enough to get a swamper, plus my dad is buying the tires so he has to give the okay on them.

The Tires
-MTZ
-BFG and procomp m/t's
-hankook dyanpro m/t
-cooper discoverer stt
-dick cepek mud countries
-maxxis buckshots

as yall can see im trying to keep it under 200 a tire

thanks,

mitchell

hankooks
bfg
procomp
mtz
cepek
cooper
buckshot

theyll all perform similar offroad cept some have a little sidewall tread
out of the ones you listed just choose the one that you think looks the best. MTZ's will probably be the quietest IMO
hankooks did great for me... mine measured 32s (305s)

but now I have MTZs
If you want to stay under 200 a tire your best bet would be buckshots or mud brutes. If i were you i'd spend a little more and get super swamper ssr or iroks, they both last if maintained and pull better than any tires you mentioned:imo

didnt he already mention that he doesnt have a need for swampers?
not to mention ssrs are heavy as fuck
idk some people just like a lil bigger rubber and heavier

kinda like small guys and fat chicks

kinda weird how you can reroute everything back to trucks

I'd still go with them. I have 25k on my mudbrutes , they almost bald. I've seen 38 ssr go 45k on a f250 and 36 iroks go 55 on a tahoe

im not doubting the mileage, just showing that he already stated that he has no need for a swamper so that recommendation was irrelevant :shake:
I find that shit hard to believe

those iroks/ssrs had to of been run for a while bald
they were ran till bald, i saw both and it was hard to believe but thats what they said and they are both for older guys, the guy with the f250 owns faucheauxs airboats and the other guy is brandon winnmill he owns winmill tire in abbeville
thanks guys, and i wanted ssr's but my dad shot that one down, two loud for him. what kinda mileage should i see with the mtz's cause i want those the most out of them
i dont think you will find mtzs anywhere for under 200 bucks a tire.
well then if i cant ill chip in the cover the cost. anyone know how mtzs measure up? im hoping that theyll be close to a 35 cause my 4.88s are killing me right now
prolly meaure to a 33.5-34 on the truck
buy a set of 37's...the price wont be too outrageous being you are running 15" wheels. They will measure up to a 35-36"
I would get the Cooper STT's. I have them on my truck and I love them. Mine are 33x13.50 on 18x9 wheels. They are super quiet and look great, they really dig in the mud as well. Mine have probably around 5k on them so far and i have no complaints... other than i got raped on how much i paid for mine by a local shop. But they are a great tire.
I run MTZ's and they measuer around 34.5 and im seein prety good mileage. I was seeing awesome mileage but i had some major alignment issues and that messed things up. I got mine shipped to my door for $880. Ebay is your friend. Good luck man.
