And for the constructive comments, I plan on adding a top with bent tubing around the headlights and to give more upper protection. and then ill paint it black.
I'm really enjoying building it and I haven't hardly any money on it. I see them for sale online for over 2 grand (but those bumpers are built perfectly symmetrical and diamond plate) but this one looks symmetrical enough haha and it is so strong. The frame will bend before this will. It is bolted on the frame in four different spots. I have only had to buy wire for the welder (I dont use gas with it for $ reasons) and I have a plasma cutter so everything is pretty easy hahaI think it's gonna look BA when it's done, but I seem to be a minority on this forum with you almost all posts on my new pickup were negative too haha
Something to consider but, would you rather write off the truck due to the frame being destroyed or replacing the front clip. Just something to think about. The frame will bend before this will.

ranch hands don't always look terrible. But yours does. like a giant fat lip. What does everyone think about my bumper so far. Any suggestions? I'm thinking of bed liner to coat it when it is completed for durability and to prevent rust from showing.
I grew up on a farm way out in the country and I still think your bumper is ugly as shit. All you city people are hating. You don't have to worry about deer and other animals every single time you start your truck.
