A while back i got my exhaust ran with true duals with nothing but the converters. I figured i would notice a power gain, but i think i lost some low end. I cant burnout as good, which isnt that bad cause it hooks up better when racing, but i think it takes off a little slower. Am I just dreamin this or does it make since? If i ran a performance muffler, would i gain hp?

well if you originally had a y-pipe setup, you lost some back pressure switching to true duels... i would say go back and ask for an x-pipe to be installed, it should give you some of your oomph back... but it will slightly quiet your system down.

It never had a y pipe, the muffler was a dual in single out and it has the stock 1 converter for each pipe, i just had the muffler took off and had it run straight back.

It does sound like you did lose some back pressure...you might have a lil more top end, but w/o backpressure, you do lose some torque sometimes...
