new gas-o-mizer

Sick of these gas prices I finally picked up something economical, 03 gsx-r 600. Yeah, as far as bikes go it's an antique but I picked it up for about $1500 under book from one of my friends who needed to put windows in his house. I had an 00 750 that I sold to buy my Camaro so it's nice to ride again. Any issues with this one I should address? It has 14000 miles and the only additions are sliders and a jardine slip on. I want to add HID's and a crash cage.
