I am wanting to put some lower gears in my 06 Z71......it has 3.42's and with 33's, it's a mut!!

What do you all think a shop should charge to change the gears?

TIA

Just gears front and rear your probably looking around 500 in labor and then 500 or so parts assuming you leave the g80 in there

depends on what kind u go with. i was quoted 1200 for front and back yukon 5.13s which is a little steep but worth not having to deal with the headache and passing on the liability. :imo

Gotta remember you have to do the front and back if you ever want to use 4x4. If you doing only the rear then 600 is fairly accurate

Mine isn't HORRIBLE around town, but it doesn't like OD on the highway with a strong headwind and my quad in the back, that's for damn sure.

i would get the parts from them or the cheapest place u can find them. and just have a shop do the labor bc most shops will stiff u on parts.
