Hey guys whats up!

I'm new here obviously and i have a 2004 Suburban Z71.... im 17 years old btw.... it's got 105,678 miles.... don't know how much longer she'll last me but whatever. It's been in our family since 2004 we bought it brand new and i just recently had the truck handed down to me by my mom because she's upgrading to an S600....

This truck will eventually have these mods on it...

Smoked head and tails
CAI (One that doesn't suck up water and mud)
Nitto mud grapplers
Badass exhaust set up
Custom tune (due to the dumbass computer this thing has)

Now i have a question about an exhaust...

I wanna find the nastiest loudest exhaust setup i can get without deleting cats or getting longtubes lol i know it could be hard to find but hopefully you guys can help me.... I can't pass emissons with longtubes i wish i could i live in D.C. they are really strict about the emisson standards...

But yea guys i just wanna know some of the loudest exhaust setups i can get for the 5.3 without deleting the cats or longtubes....

BTW if you guys want pics of a boring stock Black Z71 Suburban only mod is tinted windows lol.... just tell me how to do it and i have no prob with showing you guys....

A cherry bomb extreme will be close to what you are looking for. I would have gone with one if I hadnt ordered headers, I still might put it on with the headers, I havent decided.
Other than that I heard that a race bullet muffler would sound good also, dynomax I believe.

Check out your local exhaust shops. Also, add HIDs to your mod list. Just curious, why would you want extremely loud exhaust?

But anyway's i've heard of cherry bomb before and will definitley look into them. I appreciate your input. My bud at school was telling me to get those dynomax bullets but i just wanted to see some other guys opinions who don't own 72 c10's lol....

I wouldn't go as far and say it's pointless but i mean you know you won't be getting the power gains as maybe some of the other exhaust setups out there that are quieter but who cares.... This truck is not gonna be fast by any means i just wanna give it a nice intimadating sound thats all...

I'm 21, hardly old. The point of it is, there is no point. You will realize in due time that you just look like a fool with a loud exhaust. Now if you happen to have a loud exhaust and have the performance to back it up, then that's a different story. However, a suburban with an abnoxious exhaust screams either high schooler or ******* inbred with a small dick.

The reason why these threads don't get much positive response is because every single day there is someone asking "what's the loudest exhaust?" or "How do I set off car alarms?" We have an exhaust thread sticky for a reason and the search button does still work contrary to popular belief.

You haven't spent enough time on here, I don't expect you to understand. Gmfullsize operates on a few sets of principles. Until you have spent some time on the forum, or you know your shit, you won't be taken seriously(for instance I do not take you seriously yet). It's no different than a new hire walking up to his new boss and telling him his new shirt looks gay. A seasoned employee might get away with it, but the new guy isn't.

I'm 17 too and trust me you dont want to be like every other teenager with loud exhaust and obnoxious shit all over their ride. Keep it subtle and clean; it's a more mature choice and is also the way GMFS members prefer it. Less is more. Take some time to read the stickies in every section, there are plenty of cheap and innovative ideas to make your truck stand out.

Also, 105k may sound like alot of miles compared to your mom's S600, but it isn't.

I wasnt putting him down. I was explaining why some other people werent being very nice to him. oh, and as long as the truck has been taken care of and you continue to do so, it will last a long, long time with simply maintenance items.
