New Leer 100xr cap poor fit 1 inch over hang on both sides 2022 long bed

After getting the Leer 100XR cap installed on my 2022 GMC 3500 long bed it over hangs on both sides by like an inch . It looks like its for a different truck and looks like crap . This is the 3rd Leer cap I have bought I'm very disappointed . Has anyone else see this or am I hosed by todays poor quality , and I have look at this teurd for the next 20 years . Also the cap rear door only opens 90 degrees instead of all the up like a normal cap door .
