I'll be getting my 6" Pro Comp lift tomorrow hopefully if all goes well!!! I can't wait I couldn't deside for the last two years if I wanted it or not and I've finally desided to get it!!!!!

Awesome congrats I hear is a good lift for NBS. Just curious why did you choose Pro Comp over others like CST?

last i heard was that they re designed the obs kit and they arent as bad as they were. I dont remember where i heard that so it might not be true.

My truck is an OBS but the guy I deal with for all my mods is actually the one who told me to get that one because it's the best he's had and he's never had a complaint about it!!!!!! I was going to get the Trailmaster 4" lift but he told me that a lot of people had problems with running stock rims!!! I trust him so I went with the Pro Comp cuz that's what he's had in all his trucks!!! But does anyone know the lift laws for MA or where I can find them? Also what size tires should I get for it I was thinking 35x12.5 but I'm not sure.

Get your calculator: The maximum allowable mechanical lift (as well as what's acceptable in terms of bigger rubber) can be determined by this formula:
Maximum Lift = Wheelbase x Wheel Track divided by 2200
as for tires, can you fit a 35 under a obs with just 6", im not sure

also: they do it differently when you go in for inspection tho, each truck has a certian allowable height to the door, a good way around this is to roll small tires for inspection
as you can see mine is not legal, im only allowed 27" to the bottom of the door and i am at 33" with my 37's

I have looked at the pro comp for a long time and I am almost decided on the DC stage 2 but I can get a better deal on the pro-comp what exactly did they re-design on them and are they still having the same problems? :read:

Hopefully the lift will be done by Thurs and I can have the tires put on Fri and will be down there on Sunday but I'm going out to Greenfield so I probably won't be down there until after 12!! If not I'm going with Josh in his truck and we'll be there!!!

Derek Thanks for getting the meet together over on MCT it's been a busy week!!!! Bur my lift starts to get put in today!!!! He said it'll be done by Thursday so I can out tires on it fri so I'll have it for Sunday!!!!

I get my truck back Tuesday!!!!!! I can't wait!!! The tires are suposed to go on Friday but I'm gonna call and see if they can go on sooner. As soon as I get picks I'll post them!!!!!!
