Installed 4-5” IHC lowering control arms with new strut assembly’s on my 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab 2wd. My question is that the struts seemed a really bouncy and haven’t really settled in making the truck look like it’s has a 3/7 drop when I actually have a 5/7. Do I wait more time maybe for the struts to settle in? Installed a week ago by the way.

Did you torque all your fasteners at ride height, or while it was on stands with the suspension drooped?

Loosen and re-torque everything while at ride height. You can do that on stands as long as the stands are under the control arms at the farthest point from the frame (z height is still the same as if the wheels were on the ground). Just a tip: anytime you are working on suspension, always torque everything at ride height.
