Nothing fancy for this build ,just a clean,simple,stealthy upgrade.

Here's the rundown:

Sub: Sundown SD2 8"
AMP : SAE 600D
Custom enclosure
1/2" seat lift

Front stage : EMF 6.5 coax (H/U powered for now)
Pictures to be added as equipment arrives. And as installed

For time and simplicity sake, this enclosure is just a little .3cuft sealed box. After everything is fitted ,and dimensions are confirmed, I'll have a low tuned ported enclosure built.
I did a 1/2" seat lift to buy some excursion clearance to the floor. It's looking like I'll have enough volume to do the ported later without extra lift.

Probably wood glue. I like using liquid nails on small stuff

Looks good. What did you glue all the pieces for the curve together with?

The whole front with the kerf is one piece. After the grooves were cut , wood glue and MDF dust was put in them,then the board was bent and clamped.

Sounds real good to me. It has more than enough clean output for me. Last setup was a ported Icon on a sundown 1000 and it was too much.


For the record, I didn't build this myself I had a guy do it to my specs. Didn't want it to come across as I built it.

lol bye bye back seat.. its simple as hell man.. could probably even put both on one side unless you're going to stay ported
