Nothing huge, but decided to get some wider tires out back because of traction issues. I really liked the Hankook RH07 but it was time for a wider tire with a softer compound. So far they work really well. Next is a Detroit locker and Caltracs.

Overload may be in the way of the cal tracs, but I already have a solution figured out. I can't wait to get some on and let loose especially with that Detroit. Not sure if the 10bolt will last though....anyone?

Mods are intake, cam, springs, headers, full mandrel exhaust, torque converter, shift kit, ud pulley, 05-efans and Blackbear tune. I think that's everything. I made a post around here with everything and some videos.

JDM I'll try to get some up for you. These new tires clear perfectly with the rolled fenders. You have to roll the fenders though to clear this combo.

Old tires are for sale.

Looks better, I'm sure the 10bolt will hold up fine with the detoit, through a girdle on if you want.

off topic, your rear shocks, is it the picture or do they really only have about 1" compression?

edit: and a lot of LOW guys will cut the overload down, so it doesn't protrude so far forward, and with helper bags you should be fine with that.

I'm worried about the axles and the splines with the Detroit. I may just get a built 9" instead and have the spring perches welded on so i can get rid of these hack pinion shims anyway. I still need to price it all out. I've run a 9" before with a detroit and really liked it and it was bullet proof.

I know I only have about 1" of shock shaft showing, that's how I set it up. I only have about 1.5" of up travel at that ride height shown and 1" normally with the helper bags at my cruising psi. The truck rides amazing with those shocks, soft rubber bumpstops and helper bags. No issues with harsh bottoming. I wouldn't change a thing. The shocks are valved perfect for my application.

I was going to cut the front of the overload off if needed, but didn't want to say that

haha, I kind of figured that, just round it off so it looks stock

I know it rides amazing, I remember you saying that before, and like mentioned it all in how you valve them. I was just curious.

No worries figure I'd give an explanation in case anyone else was wondering. I normally would set it up with more shock shaft showing at full compression, but they work just fine setup like this. I'd be fucked if I had a 1/4" more up travel though.
