That will help your 60 and ET lot. IF you can hook! Then get a FAT cam. My vote goes to the MagicStick4 or a T-Rex. DO IT!!!:head:

your kidding right? i would need atleast a 4000 stall to run either of those cams, and i would still be slower than a moderately sized cam. there is such a thing as over camming a car. those cams work great in ligher cars(usually standard), or in larger displacement motors such as a 408. hell, my motor had a magic stick in it before i bought it and it screamed in the camaro! that same cam would be a complete turd in my truck. besides...i enjoy my daily drivability and gas milage. im thinking more along the lines of a 226/226 .585/.585 112lsa or the good ol tr224 112lsa

A 226/226 still may be a bit big for an ecsb because of the weight.

not at all. Escecially in an ls1 motor. Your 3200 stall would go perfect with that patrio 226

Just be sure to have an LS6 intake at least.

yeah i want one...mainly so i can put the vette covers on it lol. im not in the situation to spend the money on all of that stuff yet.

im not going with the patriot...comp 226 XER on a 112 behind the 3200 stall. im payin alot extra fof the lobe design:pow:

the 226 isnt too big for the ls1 and 3200 in a ecsb. a buddy of mine is doing 12.5's in his lq9 with the truck intake and 226 cam. it pulled to 6700 with the big nasty intake on the dyno before it fell off.

Stew, I'm running that 224/227 113+3 in my 5.3... there's a Yank SS3600 going behind it shortly... should run pretty good... I'd say a 228/228 cam would be mean in that LS1....get a nice converter and have fun. :)

Awesome times bro!!

Based on the MPH, the truck must be super light.. What is your raceweight?

if i had a single cab i would be all over that 228/228r. thats the cam i recomended to demon with his ls1 and from what ive read he loves it. the heavier e-cab will have the 226 max...but my mind changes daily:crazy: ive been thinking 226 for about 3 weeks now though so im pretty sure thats the one ill stick to.

Pansy, go 228 lol, JFWY. My roomate is running a 226/226 in his ECSB 5.3L with a 3200 stall and she pulls quite well :read:

Exactly.... thats why I'd recommend the 228 for the bigger cubed LS1... should have about the same powerband as a 226 in a 5.3.... I'm putting a 3600 converter behind my 5.3 ecsb with 224/227 cam.... :D
