I'm tired of messin with my truck all the time and not getting what i want out of it and a new problem comes up every day. So I'm considering selling it and getting an 08 single cab short bed with a 5.3.:hmm: Any thoughts on this?

an 08 Single cab with a 5.3 are very hard to find. There was only 3 09 5.3 RCSB avaible in Texas.
I think I saw a couple at Tom Bannen Chevrolet in Goodlettsville. Your not to far from there. Check em out.
What problems are you talking about? Your truck is only 3 years old, I don't see why you would have so many problems, that would make you want to sell your truck.
i really think you'll hate to go from a crew to a single cab!
reg cab makes the package look bigger

So does trimming the pubes.

I've got so much junk on it there's wiring running everywhere. It's my first truck so I kinda messed stuff up just learning. I'd like to get a new one and fix it up the right way.
going from a cc to sc? I dont think I would ever do that.
I can say from experience your making a BIG mistake going from crew to single . I did it and have regeted since the first week I bought it.

If wiring is the only problem, rip it all out and start from scratch. Draw a schematic of your truck and where all your accessories are and it will be easy for you to layout where all you wires need to be. Trust me, You won't be happy switching from a CC to a RC, you'll miss the room. If one of your buddies have a RC, switch with him for a week or two and then see if you still want one.

It sounds like your just trying to find an excuse to get a new truck

:word:

I know how you feel, with wanting to get a new/newer truck, but your truck is still pretty brand new. I wouldn't expect your truck to have too many miles on it either. If you are talking about the wiring for your sound system, that can easily be fixed.
I think he is just sick of his 4.8, and wants more power, but either way I rather have a cc then a sc
i had a 08 single cab nnbs.. i really liked the looks of it, just no room inside.. im 6.1 and felt cramped all the time.. i upgraded to a crew cab and love it.. not as peppy due to weight, but i still love it..
i also saw a few single cab 5.3,373 at Wyatt Johnson in clarksville, but if you are looking for a deal, donk go looking there..
I do like the room I have but I hate the little power and the bad gas mileage. Really overall I'm just not happy with the way it has turned out. It's lifted but you can barely tell. The rims are big but they're not that big. The sound system is loud but not as loud as most. Just to name a few things. It's like a money pit that I get nothing out of.
my cc has good power:shrug:

all of those "problems" can be fixxed.
I have a 4.8 with 3.23's
get 4.10s or 4.30s
