Do I need a different set of control arms with a spindle lift? I have a 1” spacer on top of coils. Already changed ball joints, sway links, tie rod ends soon as I bought the truck. 2006 1500 2wd Sierra
You shouldn't. Lift or lowering spindles don't really change the geometry of the suspension, they just move the position of the hub up or down, depending on application. The 1" spacer might cause a need, but it really depends on what your ball joint angle looks like.
I got a 3/2 spindle/block kit for just a little bump up. Making sure I don’t need anything else in the near future. I’ve replaced everything except for control arms and cv axle so far. 265/70/17 tires on stock rims. Only 2” clearance right now in the front below the fender.
