New wheels???

I'm going to be in the market for some new wheels next for my HD. I've gotta stick with a 17" wheel, and preferably 8-9" wide. I currently have 17x9's with 5" BS and these are perfect. But, the polished finish is about shot from winters around here, and I'll keep these for winter-time wheels.
I'd like to stay with a similar setup due to tire laws around here and whatnot. Plus the backspacing vs. my Toyo's width (37/13.50) makes it close to my upper aarm with the Cognito lift.

My favorite #1 pick would be Weld Cheyenne 8's or Velociti 8's. But, $$$ is a factor as always. I'd like a wheel that looks like the Welds if possible. There are a bunch out there, I know. I like the 8 spoke designs and still like the "hole" wheels, but will keep these for backups anyway. So, I'm looking for suggestions for wheels. What do you think would look good on here with my setup??? Thanks.

Here it sits currently:

I would sell you mine but they would put in you the same boat because mine have 5 1/4 BS. I need to sell them and get some with about 4.5
yeah im an asshole.

Thanks guys, and yeah, I've been looking around. I'd prefer chrome I guess, but hope they won't be too "blingin'". I like some of the Eagle spoked designs, the Procomp Xtreme Alloys and Forged Strykers, Raceline Renegade 8s, Ultra Predators, etc. But, just matching up a width and backspacing that'll work with my lift and tire combo is a bit tricky. I need to find:
-17x9's with 4.75 or 5 in. bs.
-17x8's with 4.5" bs..
-17x8.5's with 4.75" bs.

Twotone- I know what you mean. My current setup is fine, but definitely as close as I could go. Check this out:

Eagle and Ultra makes a wheel real close to the Weld's. I've got the Eagle 114's on my truck.

those Eagle's that GMoney posted are pretty tight, but I hate the Motto's.

this guy read my mind. I was considering welds for my HD because the Velocity 8s have always been one of my favorite wheels. The Eagle 114s are the closest you will get to the Welds without breaking the bank. But after much thought and consideration I went with Intros :D :D. On your truck I would consider at least stepping up to an 18 or maybe even a 20 esp if you are even considering stepping up to 38s in the future. My favorite combos are 35s with 18s like I had on my old HD and 38s and 20s. The sidewalls are perfect on both and just look sick especially with the velocity 8 are eagle 114s.:bowtie:

edit: jut read your original post again and realized you said that you wanted to stick with a 17 inch rim, but opinion still remains the same bro:shake:

I actually considered you're intro's when they were for sale, but just really didn't wanna spend the money. I lost too much on my last truck :bawl:

The Eagle's I got were under $900 for 20X10's, so 17's should be a little cheaper.
jonyb your eagles were really less than $900 OTD? I need to get on my 8 lug conversion and get me some of those, thats an awesome deal.
I get wheels locally from a friend for cost, but other's that don't know him as well still get better deals from him than the net.

I think they make them in six lug applications too :read:

And if I'm not mistaken they have 2 less spokes, which :imo makes them look a little busy.
true, but i believe the 6 lugs only come in 20x8.5....thats a big no go, they have zero lip compared to those 10s jonyb has got
i got my 17x10 helo cannons for 552 otd. I NEED TO CHECK IF THOSE RACELINE ROCKCRUSHER CAPS WOULD WORK INSTEAD OF THE HELO ONES.. anyone have any input on that?

Yeah, I like all those 8 spoke styled wheels. The problem is, and I've already looked into it:

Eagle 114's come in superfinish and chrome, but 17x10's with 4.65" BS which would stick out too much. They don't make the 114's in a 17x8 with 8-6.5 lug pattern's, damnit!!!

Ultra Predator 8's also only come in a chrome 17x10, but with 4.5" BS.

The Rengade 8's, Procomp 6005's, and Procomp Forged 607's all come in 17x9's with 4.75" or 5" BS.

Here are the three wheels, whatdaya think???

Oh, and BTW, I'd go with a 17x10 in a heartbeat. But, the asshole cops around here already hassle us about tires sticking out as is, and thats with the maximum b.s. setup I can run.
I had x10's before but had to get rid of them due to them sticking out too far.
i myself love your truck as is
