ok i just got a 96 4dr 2wd yukon and my tranny is leaking out the back down the drive shaft. is this an easy fix or am i going to be out some major cash? any help as to what i need to buy or do to fix this would be great. thanks in advance guys.:worship:

a seal. its easy. pull the driveshaft and yank out the seal. its okay if u rip it.
lube the new one so it slides in a little easier

how do i know what tranny i have?

i belive its the 4l60e......and if ya do the seal yourself i rubber mallet would also help along with some lube...

i would use a wood block when hammering the seal back in, FYI
