OMG, I'm in love. Damn I wish I still had my 96 DCM SS. I will have another one someday, in black.

Not to paraphrase, but...

 Crazy fucks, these cars are the last of the real American big rwd beasts. When I see this car, I can feel the vibe of the 50's all over again. If you don't like it, not only are you dead, you are a dead communist. :read:

That one is definitely nice but there are nicer ones out there imo.
Hard to beat though.

30k for a 15 year old car? Maybe worth 20.
I'd agree but in this case the mileage alone (and the condition of the car) almost completely legitimizes the cost. I'll bet you can't find a single other '95 SS with so few miles. All things considered I'd expect to see the interior in immaculate condition and it'd probably help if it were completely stock and not personalized. The big wheels and some of the small stuff like the carbon fiber pieces kill the novelty.

There's been a '99 2-dr Tahoe on Autotrader for years now selling for around $30K. It only has about 7K miles and if I remember correctly it's completely stock other than a drop. Just takes the right buyer at the right time IMO.

Edit - I now see that low mileage Impala SS's are all over the place. Guess they made a lot of them. IMO there's nothing special about this one, it could be in better shape, in stock form, and the price is outrageous.
