on the nbs, people have run them down the length on the fender. why not a shortie antenna, maybe black powdercoated
There was a thread on this somewhere that I read too with pics and all....hmm. I will try and find it again and post up a link.I swear I remember someone who had an NNBS with a relocated one. All the searching I do brings up no results.
When I took mine off my reception didn't change(at least when I do use my radio, which is never). Take it off for one day and see how your reception works out.
and thats what Jb did ..cut your antenna to desired length, then just sharpen the the end to a point and paint it black. poor man's shorty antenna :imo:
It would be nice if we could get that part number, if its only $9 for the Esky piece, it would be well worth it to cut it up to make a plug for the Silverado cowl. I hate my big ass antenna also, the shark fin on the roof sucks ass also.i just was reading on texastruckscene.com that you can do it to the nnbs too, but no pics or part number for the cowl though

I don't understand why people at least color match them so they blend in a little bit better. I'm sure it's not that hard to get off and paint.the shark fin on the roof sucks ass also.
