I've found a good deal on a NNBS vortech max and am considering trading in my truck for it. My questions are...
1. can a K&N CAI from my 2005 fit the nnbs 6.0L?

2. Can the famous vette servos work with the 4l70E (or whatever trans backs the v-max 6.0)

3. Blackbear tunes these badboys right?

4. has anyone come out with Long tube headers for the 4x4 nnbs's?

the truck is a 2007 ECSB (5 3/4 bed) with the z71 package. Its got it all except navigation. and only has 16,000 miles on it!
Thanks for the help guys!

1. don't know

2. vette servos work in all 60e, 65e, and 70e.

3. yes Blackbear tunes them

4. American Racing Headers, but get ready to spend some money, however the quality is amazing. rumor has it that LPP headers will fit as well.

yes servos will work
black bear is bad ass on the 07+ nnbs lq9's especially with l92 heads (casting #823)
and lpp's will not fit, already tried, it rest on the front drive shaft yoke on the drivers side yet passenger side will go in nice
ARH and Dynatech are the only 2 that work with both 4wd and 2wd nnbs's.

I really want this truck, I hope everything works out. If it does, CAI, LT headers, vette servo, cam, stall , BB tune and possibly gears with a trutrac would be in store for it! I think it would scoot pretty good!

On the NNBS you do not have to replace the whole intake. You can just buy the tube and save your self some money. I bought the full kit because I did not know this till people started doing it.

Hope you get what you want.

So basically the tube is just bigger than stock, what about the filter?

So things didnt work out with the NNBS. So now I need to take care of some stuff on my truck. I just ordered the cognito tie-rods and idler support with the weld in gusset. Im also hearing a weird sound coming from left front , sounds like the abs activating in snowy conditions. Brakes need to be done, and i think a hub is going on the left front as well. Shit never ends.
