So I spent all day installing my amps and figured while I had the back seats out I would look at doing this. Measure up 2 3/4 inches from the bottom of the tab on the back of the seat and mark it. That should put you just below the top hole in the bracket. It's going to look like your cutting too much off but trust me your not. Then you have to unbolt the hinge on the seat and remove the safety cable to lay the seat back all the way down. Unfortunatley I did not do this before reinstalling the seat and it only leans forward about half way. I did not get pictures because I had to get the truck back together so I could pick up my kid. I'm going to remove the cable tomorrow and try to get pics.

I'm glad this thread got started without pics. I was really hoping to NOT see pics of this mod when I opened this thread, and I'm glad I wasn't disappointed.

You pull the seat bottom up and at the point before it goes all the way up just pull the seat back toward you and it will lay down. Then when your done just push it back toward the back wall and pull the seat bottom back up. Once you feel the tab fall back into place push the seat bottom back down and it locks back into the back wall.
