a few months ago i painted interior pieces white in my NNBS truck (ill post pics later. i want to paint the ones on the steering wheel by the horn/airbag. how do i take them off?
and i also want to paint the gray plastic around the gauges, havent tried taken these off but is it just screws?
i do need help with the steering wheel piece, please help. thanks

how did you remove your door pieces with the buttons in them??

remove the air bag by pressing the little tab inside a small hole on the passenger side of the air bag. it will pop out slightly, then remove and un hook wires.to expose the bolts holding the trim on the steering wheel.
remove the vertical handle trim with small flat head on the bottom of the trim piece. the control buttons will pull straight out. then a few small screws will remove the buttons so you can paint them.
it also in the chiltons repair manual. thats what i used to remove everything for paint. lol

the gauge trim is a lot more fun. most of the dash will pull off. then a few screws and it will some right out. I pulled the chrome rings off when I painted mine. put it back after it was all done. so its a nice contrast.
might as well paint the trim around the radio while you have everything torn apart
