Hey everybody,
Long story short, I recently had a bulletproof 12" kit fall into my lap for less than the price of of the rc 5 suspension and rc 1.25 body lifts I was planning on buying.
I was originally planning on doing 35's, on new 20" wheels. From what I read, with my 5.3/6-speed/3.73 combo I wouldn't have to regear to turn 35's. Now, I'm looking to get 37's or 38's, ya know, to justify the lift, which means I will definitely have to regear. So, now I'm looking at keeping my factory 17" wheels to save money to put towards regearing.
So my question is, has anybody on here been hoosier enough to put 37's on factory 17's? I shouldn't run into any back spacing issues running factory low offset wheels, should I? How stupid will my truck look sitting 15" taller but not any wider? Anybody have any pics of any setup remotely similar to this?
