Was on Rough country's web site just looking a prices and lifts and they now have 2 6" lifts for the 01-06 trucks.

The one I've seen alot of is there Series II Suspension Lift for $999

But they have a NEW NTD Suspension Lift for $1199

It says it will retain stock ride better. I'm still newish to this stuff and was hoping someone can tell me the real point in this, Pro and Cons, and why it would be worth $200 bucks more....

NEED INPUT!!!:rofljest:

EDIT- HERE IS A LINK

Ive search. nothing on the NTD that I can find just the lifts the trucks in the thread you posted... witch is the Series II that drops the torsion bars. I've checked that out alot. no questions for that kit...

I'm looking for info on the other kit. The one were you do not drop the torsion bars. I looked at the pics on there website and all it does is add a bracket to the top of the LCA keeping your Torsion bars in the stock location...

I'm just wondering what you really gain by doing this instead of the normal drop kits other than ground clearance in between the wheelbase.

i don't see how it will ride better that a torsion bar drop lift. It should be the same. The amount you crank up the keys effects the ride quality.

The NTD looks better though.

We have dealt with several of these kits. I would not claim that they ride better but it does give you more clearance and a cleaner look. Let me know if you want a price on it, GMFS members get a discount!

I have a buddy thats running the NTD kit and he likes it alot and I think its worth the extra 200 bucks over the series II.

I also have to vouch for Jon at Southern Truck Performance. This guy is great to deal with. Best customer service I have seen hands down and he also has great prices. I have bought from him and a few of my buddies have as well (including the friend that has the NTD kit). Definately get in contact with him when your ready for any accessory.

Well I read through the Series II... says the same thing. so I don't think the NTD part of the lift has anything to do with that... and yes I think it looks way better....

Thanks man....

I did more searching for pics with both lifts from the side.

SERIES II -

Non-Torsion Drop - to bad it has the nerf bars... it would look way better w/o but only truck i could find with a good side shoot.
