I am looking for part numbers or a link to a website to order shocks for my 1998 obs K1500. I am going to crank the torsion bars and hope to lift the front about 2 inches. If I lift the front to inches what size block would I need to put in the back and where can I order it? Or would a universal block kit from somewhere like Advance auto parts work? Thanks for help!

Just get some Bilsteins. The place that sells them can tell you which ones you need. As far as the block goes. Do you want level, sag, or rake? Crank the torsion bars and then measure the fenders (Front and rear). Get the block that gives you the necessary change to get it where you want. If you just want it level you might not even need a block for 2 inches.

I would like the truck to set level with the block in the rear end if I lift the front 1.5 to 2 inches so would I take out the stock block and put in a 4" or can I add a another block to the stock block?

Your '98 shouldn't have a block from the factory.

Get a NNBS block. It's only 1 1/4".

Anyone know where I can get a 1.5 or 2 inch lift block for an obs? All the one available locally have round u bolts and no square bolts, can most mechanic shops bend u bolts? or where can I order a lift block and bolts from?
