The block was sent to the machine shop to be checked when I bought it. I was going to bore it and add a 400 crank to make a 383 stroker. But I've decided to spend the money on other things (My 20's, mirrors, roll pan, headers and all my other new additions to the truck this summer).

So it is fine to stroke out to a 383 stroker? No damage to block of any sort?

What year is this out of? 1 or 2 piece rear main seal?

Is it set up for roller cam?

Been magnafluxed to confirm there are no cracks?

it came out of an early 90's chevy cube van. the motor only had maybe 10000mi on it, after a rebuild. the trans let go and the owner was scraping it. my friend, who put in the motor bought the truck for parts and took the heads. I bought the block and bottom end from him.

It wasn't a roller cam.

It was checked for cracks at the machine shop, i don't know if it was
magnafluxed?

its a 2 bolt main.

I think its a 2 piece rear seal, but I would have to check next time I go to my parents to be sure.
