I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado with an oil leak. its been leaking drips for a month or so but now its starting to leak a lot more. I pulled off the view ports on the bottom of the bell housing to look at the rear main seal. The flex plate and torque converter have no oil on them, but it looks like there is some dribbles coming from around the rear main seal
The other ting is that there is oil all over the sides of the bell housing and some coming from up top it looks like... Could it be the oil pressure sensor? is that a common GM problem? If anybody has any idea of what it could be that would be great because I think I may do the rear main seal and see what happens. I don't want to waste time doing that though and not have it be the problem
Thanks, Ben
