Recently I found a fix for my oil pressure (check engine light). After checking oil pressure manual way have discovered that just putting a Delhi sending unit will not fix problem. Yes there is a screen but that still will not fix the problem. Oil viscosity of the recommended 5w30 is to thin to sustain oil pressure which in turn take your oil pump out. You must run 10w30 or 40. This keeps the oil pressure light from turning on. Figured I would share the fix I have found

That isn’t a fix. It’s a bandaid. If your oil pressure is too low, it’s a mechanical issue. Saying 5w30 is too low viscosity and causes oil pump failure is just incorrect.
