Secondary air injection failure is usually due to vacuum hoses in my experience with other vehicles. Though it may not fix your problem, i'd definitely suggest a full vacuum hose inspection before you pay someone to fix it...Lil Devil also had a good point, as sometimes your 2nd air will show faults when a cylinder or two misfires.
