One Off Bed Tire Mount

There went the use of your bed...lol

Is it removable?

It looks good though. It ties in with the front end IMO.

It's removable, 12 bolts, but I'm not going to make a habit of removing it. If I need to carry large objects I'll just borrow any 3 or 4 of my fathers work trucks. With the amount of $ I've spent on this truck it's no longer going to be used to haul stuff much anyway. I still have the back 3 feet open, plus we put it up higher so I can slide long items underneath.

If you dont plan on using the bed then I would recommend a bed cover with the spare tire mount built under it.

Don't like bed covers, besides why would I want to cover the mount? It's 1/2 for looks anyway.

if you dont need to use the bed, that mount looks pretty sick i like it.

i have something similar and your not gonna like it after a while. shoulda did a tire gate type deal with more supports.

Why? (am I not going to like it that is) Like I said, I don't haul anything in my truck anymore since it's turned into more of a show truck.

looks good, but I dont like the octopus arms going to the top of the bed....overkill since its only as strong as the 1/4" feet mounting bolts.

Hmmm..fits the truck...like JB said, not so sure about the monkey arms going up to the bedrail...I assume that they are there just for looks as the rest of the mount will support the tire no problem.

The opposite of that?? basically without the ape arms you have the same thing...though yours has gussets and is supported better...I wonder if you added a bar between the "arms" if they would look better...right now they kinda look outta place.

For a tire hold down are you just going to use studs and lugnuts or build a spinner??
