ok at the time I took it all apart I had my
Pioneer Premier 940, CD-RB20 aux input, 12 disc cd changer, and XM
Cerwin Vega 4x6 plates
CV 6 1/2 coaxials
MTX 4x50 running the highs
MTX 2x 150 (bridged) running
3 CV 12" HED DVCs at 2.65 ohms or about 300 watts each rms
it wounded great, people thought I had more than just that in there. Im thinking about adding onto it so itll be like this:
system 1
Pioneer Premier 940, CD-RB20 aux input, 12 disc cd changer, and XM
Cerwin Vega 6 1/2 components (front)
CV 6 1/2 coaxials (rear)
MTX 4x50 running the highs
MTX 2x75 running
Orion 6.5 midbass drivers in the front doors
(2) MTX 2x 150 (bridged) running
6 CV 12" HED DVCs at 2.65 ohms or about 300 watts each rms
or a dam near total revamp like this
system 2
Pioneer Premier 940, CD-RB20 aux input, 12 disc cd changer, and XM
Kenwood components (front) (Id go with the RFs but the Kenwoods sound 2x better)
CV 6 1/2 coaxials (rear) Might swap out to whatever I decide to do in the front)
Rockford Fosgate 4004 (4x70) running the highs
RF 3002 (2x85ish) running
Orion 6.5 midbass drivers in the front doors
(2) RF 5002s giving about roughly 300-350 RMS to
(6) 12" RF P2s
I know the RFs will hit harder, but I need about $400 to finish the first system and about $1300 before I do the rear speakers. None of that is including the wood, fiberglass, screws, etc. Ill also have to repaint the MTX amps if I do that system, but $900 will buy some paint! All the other stuff I have, like connectors, 2 1 farad caps, Optima Red Top, wires, RCAs, etc so....
I could also do a combination of stuff
