Ok im more calm now so, Everytime i go to start the drag truck its fucking DEAD! I start or drive it aleast once a week. I had better luck with a Kmart battery...........:flame:Care to explain? Ive owned 3 of them in my past 3 vehicles and have never had any problems.

i love my red top. Are you sure you don't have something draining the battery when it isn't running? My radio fried and was draining juice while the truck was off, but the radio still worked oddly enough. My red top was in my truck sitting unstarted for a month straight at temps no higher than 10 degrees and it started the truck right up without any challenge.

I've got a red top in my truck and my civic and both have been dead after sitting over night sometimes and other times they have sat a week in the truck and was still alive and atleast 2 weeks in the civic and was still good. They seem to have a mind of their own as far as when they are good and bad.

My red top works really good. Never any problems. Have a yellow top on the parents vette, sits all winter and starts right up. Redtop FTW On a daily driver, yellow top FTW on cars that sit.

Always used yellowtops and have yet to have a single problem... have you checked to make sure there isn't something drawing power even when the trucks off... seems highly unlikely that there would be so many people that swear by them if they had the same problems as you.

ive seen too many come into work bad. red and yellow.
currently im runnin 2 redtops purely for the fact that i got them at 25$ each...destroyed the battery i had in there, which still had a warrenty on it, got my 50$ back and made out even...
edit: btw, i think a lot of people "swearing" by them is because they USED to be good years ago. lately, they are shit. now its either hit or miss it seems. most of the ones we were selling were coming back bad within a year.

try the diehard platinum battery. it has more power and longer warranty then the optimas. although ive never had a problem with my yellow top
