Well I've cammed my truck its a Ls hot cam 218/227 .525 lift and 112 lsa. Operating range is about 1500-6000. Its still doggin it off the line but I gots 3.42s with 265/70/17 tires. Wanting to get some taller gears I can get ahold of a set of 3.73s front and rear for around $200. You guys think I should jump on that or try to hold out for some 4.10s? Opinions would be appreciated thanks in advance

The Ring an pinion for the 3.7s's is 200?

You could do Motive 4.30's for $210 per diff (+ install kits)

Do your rear diff, remove front driveshaft. Do front diff when you have time/money to do so.

Go for more than 3.73's, 4.30 is perfect DD ratio IMO.

You could do Motive 4.30's for $210 per diff (+ install kits)

Well the whole set of 3.73s ring and pinion for the front and rear for $200 used and I didn't think about 4.30s I might look into them

I would do 4.10 it may help it out alittle.. really need a converter with that cam or throw that cam in the trash and get something better

Why everyone hatin on the hot cam? Lol I just got it for little more power and the lope not a race truck Lol its a 4x4 that tows a little just wanting the gears so it will stop shifting all the dang time going down the highway and pull better from a stop

I'm starting to lean towards the 4.30s unless I can find a deal on 4.10s I'm trying not to fear the gear lol
