Can you provide a link to specs for the amp? I can't seem to find any with that info.

Many things could cause your description. 99% of it would be the install/vehicle. Proper size/quality wire, good battery underhood, good ground to metal, etc.
Here is the manual for the amp.

And this is how the 2 kicker's 12'' dual 4ohm are wired, and the subs are rated at 400w RMS

thanks for the help.

Everything seems fine, I would just look to the install.

Clean grounds to metal, Add another ground underhood, Use good 4AWG, Properly size Fuse amperage (I think 60 for yours), make sure you have a good battery underhood, etc.
You know what my battery's volts go to about 11-12 volts when I just turn on ac you think that battery is going bad?
How old it is? Some batteries only have a life of 3yr/36000.

Never a bad idea to have it tested.
Where's a good ground point for a 4awg wire inside these nbs reg cabs?

I gota pheonix gold xenon 600.1 and DD 1010 in mine works fine. But wouldnt mind beefing up the ground and doing the big 3.

i like to run a bolt thru the floor, amp to bolt on the top side, bolt to frame underneathe
Orion 250R is the shiznit. Those amps are high current, yes, they draw a lot of power. Seems normal to me. I ran a HCCA 225 for years. Badass amps, imo. They do get hot though, so keep it well ventilated.
