Well a member from here needed some work done to his truck. I woke up early to start on it. I got up and ate breakfast and at 7am the washing began..sorry no before pix, i was to sleepy to remember. However this thing was in really bad shape, and i mean really bad shape.

Process:

Washed
Clayed with Heavy Duty Grade, had a lot of overspray.
SSR3 w/ yellow pad @ 5 OPS and moderate pressure
SSR1 w/ white pad @ 5 OPS with light pressure
I ended up finishing the polishing process and dressing up around 4:30PM ish.

Then Sunday morning, woke up early and hit it with nattys blue before delievery at noon.

SSR 3 removed a lot of crap, but i left some hazing, so SSR1 took care of that.

Black is a bitch, but cleans up really well.

Damn trash guys, what do they think this weekend was, a holiday.

Did it only take 1 pass for each step?

yea 1 pass for each. i was lucky not to of needed SSR 2.5/2. i was hoping SSR 3 would remove all of it and SSR1 would clean up the haze, and it worked out perfect, i just had to work the SSR1 well. but yea 2 passes total.

You did a great job. I need to get me some SSR3, my friend has got swirls like a Mo Fo in his paint and they may want me to do it soon.:suicide2:

Thanks!

I left Erica at home.
was that the chick in the gauge bezel?
hahah yea
oh ok, so technically you did bring erica to my house.

glad you like it, only think that sucks is we have rain forecast all week. well that sucks for you, but great for me so i can get some damn rain water on my lawn.

if it does catch rain, just dry it off with a MF towel, it will come off easy if you do it before it dries since the wax is fresh.
where can I get some MF towels?
yea i get them from chris, the one i used at the end to clean the water drops are from him. :shake:
wow! Paint looks great now!
im suprised u could go from such a heavy compound with moderate pressure on a coarse pad right to a finishing pad and polish.
