Looking at this:

http://www.pace-edwards.com/fullmetal_jr.html

On craigslist for cheap (suckers are $1,400 new :jester: ). Didn't know how well they last. Found a few pots on a few different sites about them shitting out, but I'd imagine PE sells replacement parts?

Just seeing if anyone has any experience with these :) I know ski dude (forgot his sn) with denali and 33's had one on his old truck :hmm:

I have one and I'm happy with it overall. A bit of a pain to install especially by yourself so make sure you have an extra set of hands. I wanted something low profile that would hold up well and provide protection to contents in the bed. And the fact that it rolls up I can still use my bed to haul larger items without having to remove the cover (i.e., fiberglass cover)

Yea I'm worried about the roll up part crapping out :\
That's why I got the manual not the electric. I've had my cover for at least a year and it still looks and works like the day I bought it.

ski dude :rofljest:

I had the Jackrabbit... its a great cover. I never had a problem with mine but my neighbor had the spring go bad... but it's repairable if that happens. Design is pretty simple.

I'm actually trying to sell my Bakflip HD and thinking of going back to a Pace Edwards cover.... only because I can't open/close my Bakflip with my Thule bike racks- i need a retractable cover

There's a bunch of different models...

If its the full-metal jackrabbit... $250 would be a SICK price. $300-$400 is still a good deal depending on the shape that its in.

If its the regular jackrabbit or roll-top, then $200-$300 sounds about right...

Have the bedlocker on my dually with no complaints. Really nice fit and finish, and haven't had anything go out on it. Although I hardly use it and it remains closed most of the time. Like said, is really difficult to do by yourself, an extra set of hands makes things much easier. If it is the full metal, $250 would be a great price, but a little low to the seller IMO. $300-400 would be great still though.
