I'm thinking about painting my brake calipers but I'm not sure on a color. My truck being blue I don't want red or anything bright to overly stand out. Any suggestions? Or should I just leave them alone?

if the paint is coming off I would just paint them black, if they still look good then probably not

I'd say flat black if they need it. Colourmatching would be a cool touch, but the calipers probably aren't big enough to make it really noticeable.

They look like a dirty grey. I was thinking silver or black. Idk.

Def not flat black... That will just look like caked on brake dust!!! Gloss black enamel looks great and has held up for 2 yrs for me, and still looks like I just painted it.

I did mine gloss black, looks good with the blue but you can't see it with the stockers, they look good with my 18's. Gloss black looks good on just about any color though.

colormatch them? I painted my stock calipers red but I have baer oversized brakes so they look legit unless you bend down and inspect them:crazy:

I think indigo blue would be hard to find in high heat apllications? But I think it would look good. I Painted the rotors black when I replaced them so I might as well do calipers black too.

Nope, powerslot rotors come powdercoated black.

I did mine 2 years ago, caliper red and bracket black with hi temp "Silverado" decal. Still look like new.

Post up how it looks when it's done I've stared at this at the stores wondering how it would actually look. I didn't want to look too ricey.
