I’m going to be painting a camper shell, fender flares, handles, mirrors…etc. What kind of sprayers do you guys have or are there any that you would suggest I get to start my project?? I’m looking at getting a set up like the one below. What do you think, will that work for me?? Also, is there anything I need to look out for when buying a sprayer??

Its an campbell-hausfeld gun

Powered Painter
Model: EZ322B00AV

Durable carbide piston for long life when using latex paints
Convenient visual instructions for simple setup and fast cleanup
Wide mouth canister for easier pouring and cleaning
Tapered canister keeps paint pooled for less waste and 'spitting'

Warranty: 1-Year
Approx. Retail-New Unit: $96.00

The EZ322B, Powered Painter was chosen 3-to-1 over competitors in consumer market testing for the best spray pattern, lightest gun and quietest operation. Its easy grip base provides finger holds for stable tightening or loosening. The stain tip included is designed to spray bigger range of coatings. The suction lid and hose fits one-gallon paint buckets to draw coating directly from can. It sprays latex and oil paint. The durable aluminum housing cleans in a snap with the 3-step use and clean feature. The Powered Painter system includes: the Powered Painter, two spray tips, faucet adapter, cleaning brush, replacement valves and lubricant, paint can lid and suction set, viscosity/stir stick. Specifications: Power Requirement: 85 watts, Performance: 2000 psi, Surface Coverage: up to 16 sq. ft./min., Canister Capacity: 1 quart, Tip Size(s): .6 & .8 mm, Weight 4.5 lbs.

Thanks guys, Greg

I think that is for painting wood. You need one that hooks to a compressor like these

Thanks for the link Andy

Do you know if there’re very hard to use, like adjusting the spray and etc…

Also, if I did use that set up, the air compressor I use has some water that usually comes out with the air. Would I have to get some kind of filter so it wouldn’t mix with the paint??

Thanks, Greg

i'd go with a nice devilbiss model like this one...

i have it, LOVE it, and it's super easy to use, that and you'd need either like a 20 dollar water seperator or a 4 dollar inline filter, i'd spend the 20 though and get a filter right @ the compressor

BTW... what kinda compressor r u using???
Compressor...an old school one...lol...Its a hand-me down from my uncles. It has a 5HP motor...I think.... and a 85 gallon tank under it. I dont know that brand or anything right now, but when I get back home (Oklahoma) in a few days I could give you that info.

I saw on the link you gave me that it says to use a 2or3HP compressor if I have to use one that small I can make that happen, but do I?
