I have a 2003 GMC 2500 and its the bright ass blue color. It has the ugly mat black fender flares with the flat textured finish. I was wondering if anyone had any experience painting theirs by them selves and how to do it. If it is'nt possible for them to be painted where can i get some that match my factory paint. I also want to get the door handles to match too. Thanks

yeah dude, many on here have painted them. do you have access to a paint gun?

here's a link showing how to sand down/prep a valence for paint. you would prep the flares the same way. i wouldn't suggest painting them with spray paint, however. i would invest the extra money and have them sprayed by someone with a paint gun.

thats what i'd do if i were you. find a reputable shop and have him spray them. you can also sand them smooth before you take them to help save some cash.
