Thanks guys! I was reaaaallll hesitant bout doing this. I definitely didn't want to go overboard because I'll be the first to say painted interior is kind of ricey. I wanted to just do a little bit nice and tasteful. I didn't go through all the crap like sand, adhesion promoter, primer, sand, spray, sand, spray, buff lol I bought some interior plastic paint @ autozone and the directions said no need for primer so I just pulled them out cleaned up real good with dish soap and shot them real even. The dash still has that textured look which I wanted to match all the plastic around it and of course the door panels were already a smooth plastic. I still want to do the main speaker covers too but no way to just pull out that speaker cover.

Youll have to just tape around the bottom cover really well. Ive painted a few pieces black in my truck to offset the grey. I like it man.
Yeah that's probably what I'll end up doing. It's just got all that furry shit around it haha so I don't know how much of a bitch it will be to pull the tape back off it.

Some masking tape shouldnt be too bad. You will need to spray them away from the truck tho so you dont get overspray on the speakers or interior.

I srsly sprayed them in 9 mins with no light other than the dome and footwell lights lol but no harm. I need an excuse to buy some new door speakers (backs are good) but anyway what are some good ones and what size does the fronts take? I remember they're 6" or something right?

It was a quick job but they look good!

basically exactly whats done in my OBS too, I love the way it accents it, just want some inserts in the doors now, I actually took my panel off and apart, removed the grille, painted, and re installed lol

though i did paint the outter part of the glove box handle, and snatched a OBS escalade cluster for it with the OE white needles and 120mph for 50 bucks last week. lol

omfg the back speakers are a bitch to get to! previous owner broke the tabs for the panel above your head so they epoxied it back.(idk wtf they were thinking) now i cant find that panel to replace and it rattles like a mofo only on the drivers side.

can you post a pick of your cleared needles?

You can't really make a tan interior look good. Like trying to polish a turd, but it is an improvement I can say that much.
You're kidding right? Black truck w/ the tan inside  Light tan is real nice too...If you don't like tan, what interior color does float your boat then....?
