So far very happy with the result, provided of course the paint stands up. Used Rustoleum black truck bed paint. I never liked the bright Silver Birch showing through in the fenderwells.

Also did Dad's white 08 Sierra Denali, no pics of that yet, but I think this mod is even more necessary on the GMT900 trucks, given that there is much more body color painted area in the wheel well than on a GMT800.

yes, I did it to my fathers 08 yellow Sierra.... Its a nice easy mod that looks so clean!!!

looks good. Im so glad I put black undercoat on mine. It really makes the rear fenderwell match the front alot better.
