ok so i heard that our parking brakes are pices of shit and fail...well i tried mine out the other day and just as i suspected, mine dont hold for shit. i heard that becuase of the way they fail they trash your rear rotors so you gotta get new rotors and shoes. i was wondering if its worth gettin gsome after market rotors and shoes, like some slotted rotors. i didnt know if the aftermarket rotors had the built it parking brake drums though. anyone got any reccomendations?

If it were me, I would ditch the stockers, get different rotors etc, and if they didn't have a parking brake built into them, I'd consider one of these...

my parking break has never worked... and they blamed it not working on my 2/4 drop. Funny thing is that the dealership installed it, so they were just being lazy. My new parking break is the ground

Its a hydraulic lock. You hit the brakes and pull the handle/push the button. It closes valves and locks the brakes, all 4 wheels. We have it on our wrecker, I love it.

mmmmmm line locks are hot, throw em just on the fronts and you can do sick burnouts without power breaking. Just a thought
