I was going to buy yank 3000. I'm not sure know after speaking to different trany shops. I have stock motor with a cam eng. xr269hr-Compcam 216/220- .525/.532. the cam good between 1300 to 6300rpm range. The shops were recommending 22k to 25k stall. They were say 3k was way to big unless you were going to drag all the time. Having stall that big the truck would get bad gas mileage and rev-up above 2k v before it started moving. I've never had a 3k stall before. My 67chevy has 26k to 28k stall with a 383 stroker and that thing like rocket and break the tires in any gear. So guys let me know what you guy thinks.

That cam would be perfect with a 3000 stall. A Yank TT3000 converter is very tight and doesn't require a lot of gas to get moving, but it will kick in when you stab the throttle. Go for the 3000 :imo

Does the truck start moving just like a stock converter.

I remember when they first came out they were over 800! Group pricing was like 725.

LOL, I remember that too :rofl2:

I agree, Yank 3K is great for all around driving in a truck.
